27th May 2022 marked a pivotal moment in the life of Raphael Anuoluwapo, a bright and determined young boy. It was during the #bebold22 event that fate smiled upon him, presenting an opportunity he would not let slip away.
As Engr. Afolabi, the event’s patron, engaged with the children in attendance, he inquired if any of them had achieved a perfect score in their last exams. Raphael, brimming with confidence, stood up and proudly declared, “I did, Sir!” Intrigued, Engr. Afolabi beckoned Raphael to the front, encouraging him to substantiate his claim.
The young boy stepped forward, ready to seize the moment that lay before him. Raphael confirmed his remarkable academic achievement, securing a flawless 100% score. However, his story took an unexpected turn as he revealed the hurdles he faced. Due to financial constraints, Raphael had been forced to halt his education, unable to afford the tuition fees.
Touched by Raphael’s plight and impressed by his unwavering boldness, the Patron recognized the young boy’s potential. In a generous act of compassion, he instantly decided to include Raphael on the list of children to be awarded a full scholarship that day.
